Lancaster Pollard Opens Texas Office
COLUMBUS, Ohio (May 9, 2006) – Lancaster Pollard will open a Texas office in May, creating a new base from which to serve its growing clientele of hospitals and senior living, affordable housing and private education providers.

The Columbus-based investment and mortgage banking and financial advisory services firm has been growing exponentially over the past five years. In 2005 it was named the 16th-fastest growing company in Central Ohio by Business First. The firm was founded with a staff of two in 1988 and in the past four years has increased its staff by 144 percent, doubled the size of its downtown office space, and opened offices in Denver, Atlanta and Kansas City, Kan.

Ginger McGuire, most recently president of Austin’s The Siegel Group Real Estate and Consulting, will head up the newest office in Austin, Texas.

“We are growing because we are constantly identifying financial strategies and options to access capital to help very specific – and growing – sectors,” Chief Executive Officer Thomas R. Green said. “This new location follows our policy of providing financial advice and financing where our clients need us. We expect Ms. McGuire’s leadership and experience to help many Texas providers achieve the funding and the financial strength they require to improve, adapt and evolve.”

McGuire’s 20 years of experience include director of the southwest region of Enterprise Foundation, a nonprofit affordable housing development firm; director of loan origination for the Texas Veterans Land Board; and as deputy executive director of the housing finance division for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

“I am very impressed with Lancaster Pollard’s commitment to affordable housing and their portfolio of services. Opening a Texas office will meet a critical funding need for owners in rural areas to rehabilitate and improve their existing properties, and for owners who are ready to transfer ownership,” McGuire said.

Texas hospitals, senior living communities and affordable housing providers can contact the new office or visit Lancaster Pollard at Texas conferences for more information on financing options and advisory services.
