Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company Named One of 50 Fastest-Growing Companies in Central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Oct. 20, 2006) – Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company was today named the 9th-fastest growing company in central Ohio by Columbus Business First’s Fast 50 competition. The mortgage banking firm is part of Lancaster Pollard, which provides investment banking, mortgage banking and financial advisory services to affordable housing and senior living providers, hospitals and private schools.

The firm credits its performance to its associates’ personal and professional dedication to facilities that serve others, and to those associates’ anticipation and identification of clients’ needs.

“I am proud to work with such a strong and talented group that believes in the missions of organizations providing housing, education and health care. Our clients’ trust in Lancaster Pollard and our people is humbling, and our clients’ stories about how they have adapted and evolved are inspiring,” said Thomas R. Green, chief executive officer. “Thank you to those whom we have had the honor of serving, and thank you to those whose hard work and dedication strengthen this firm daily.”

Affordable housing in particular has seen major changes in the past year, with new preservation opportunities created by changes to both USDA and FHA commercial financing options. Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company helped rural housing providers understand and apply changes to the USDA 538 program, and the firm is second in the nation in refinancing Section 202 direct loans for low-income senior housing properties under recent HUD changes, as of Sept. 30.

In May the firm opened its fifth office, adding Austin, Texas, to Atlanta, Columbus, Denver and Kansas City. The Columbus headquarters doubled in size in 2005; both Atlanta and Denver were expanded in 2006. Lancaster Pollard & Co. was named 16th on the 2005 Fast 50 list, and the firm won an Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2006 in the services category.
