Our affiliate Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company, a commercial mortgage lender specializing in the senior living, health care and affordable housing sectors, seeks an Analyst to assist our growing affordable housing efforts. The position would start in our Columbus office but there may be future opportunities for relocation to one of our regional offices located in Atlanta, Austin, Denver or Kansas City.

The primary responsibilities of the Housing Analyst include the following areas: assessment and articulation of affordable multifamily credit characteristics, evaluation of financial models and projections, preparation of FHA/USDA mortgage applications, interaction with clients, review of legal documents, and coordination of the underwriting and closing process.

The ideal candidate must possess the following core characteristics:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, real estate, pre-law or related field
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, organized and professional
• Ability to multi-task and function under tight time frames
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access)
• Minimum GPA (within major) of 3.2
• Authorization to work in the United States of America
